I'm a slave.... for you!

Don't forget about the contest we are doing - details here

Wow, what a great start to things! We are slaving away and pumping out beautiful ring after beautiful ring and trying to put each one on our Etsy site to be loved by someone special!

So whats new? Well I put in a huge order of ring blanks about 10 days ago and when they didn't ship and I hadn't heard from the buyer I had no choice but to reorder from somewhere else. A hard lesson learned - find reliable suppliers!
The new ring bases should be here today and that means all the rings I've made will have bases to be attached to and ready to be put in the store!

We made some amazing bug rings recently, I love the flies especially so I am going to try to focus on making fun fly rings in silly situations like two flies facing a heart, "don't let love fly by"!! lol

We are also working on two custom rings! One for my dear friend Lettie who recently went on an amazing trip all around Europe and while I was not happy she left me alone for two months it was for sure a trip she will never forget! The people and places she met and saw hold stories she will tell her children and grandchildren for years to come! "When I was in Iceland...." she will say as she sips tea on her front porch at the ripe old age of 80+ and next to her I will sit, likely drooling due to being unable to control my facial muscles any longer will slap her and say something like "You old bitch I've heard this story a million times! shut your stupid face and help me to the bathroom to change my drawers!". When she returned she posted this amazing map of her route ...

What does this have to do with rings and AnaBear Boutique? Well, we took this map and shrunk it down to the perfect size, made a few adjustments, and put it in a clear resin and backed with silver glitter! So excited to get it done and delivered!!!

The second ring we are working on is ..... ready for this??... a wedding band!!! An adorable couple reached out to us on Etsy expressing their interest in the grass ring we recently posted. On a visit to Mt Hood they were married in a beautiful ceremony and exchanged vows and grass rings. We are going to the site of their marriage to get some special blades of grass to put into a smaller custom resin ring!!

Don't forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter

Have a great day!
